To provide a joint cover device for a roof floor automatically returning to a normal state when right and left skeletons are swayed by an earthquake, free from the wild movement of a waterproof sheet even in strong wind.SOLUTION: A joint cover device for a roof floor for covering a joint portion between right and left skeletons provided via the joint portion comprises: a draining cover provided on one of the skeletons; a joint cover having one end portion attached to an outer wall of the other skeleton and the other end portion located on an upper portion of the draining cover; and waterproof means provided between the other end portion of the joint cover and an end portion on the joint portion side of the draining cover. The waterproof means comprises a weight, and is composed of a waterproof sheet in contact with an upper surface of the draining cover at a normal time, positioning means for positioning the waterproof sheet at a predetermined position, and a waterproof sheet supporting device for preventing the waterproof sheet from falling off to the joint portion when the joint portion becomes narrow due to an earthquake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
