PORTABLE COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
To provide a portable communication apparatus and the like in a highly functional communication system in which a bidirectional communication circuit is implemented, the portable communication apparatus suppressing increase in power consumption without lowering convenience.SOLUTION: A bidirectional communication system is constituted by a portable communication apparatus and a fixed communication apparatus. The portable communication apparatus comprises a quiescent state determination circuit that converts a position variation of the portable communication apparatus to an electric signal and, from the electric signal, determines the portable communication apparatus's moving state and quiescent state of no operation during a set period. The portable communication apparatus performs control of: stopping a bidirectional communication circuit when the portable communication apparatus is outside of a zone of communication with the fixed communication apparatus at the time of detecting a quiescent state; and starting the bidirectional communication circuit when the portable communication apparatus's moving state is detected in a state in which the bidirectional communication circuit is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
