A portable communication apparatus 200, 200b, 200c, 200d for vehicles includes at least a first substrate 50, 50b, 50c, 50d and a second substrate 60, 60c, and is provided with a plurality of circuit boards on which electronic components 58t, 58u, 62t, 62u including an element for performing wireless communication with the outside are amounted, a protective cover 40, 40b, 40d for protecting the one face side of the first substrate, and a second protective cover 70, 70b for fixing the plurality of circuit boards and protecting the one face side of the second substrate.
