To provide woody building material manufacturing apparatus and manufacturing method by which a woody building material having an excellent quality can be manufactured in a short time.SOLUTION: A woody building material manufacturing apparatus L comprises: a loading work area A in which a lower layer plate in the state that an adhesive is adhered onto an upward surface thereof, an intermediate layer plate in the state that a hardening accelerator is adhered onto an upward surface and a downward surface thereof, and an upper layer plate in the state that an adhesive is adhered onto an upward surface thereof are overlapped, the plates being transported separately; and a press device 13 which is adjacent to a downstream side of the loading work area A, and compresses the lower layer plate, the intermediate layer plate and the upper layer plate which have been overlapped on one another. In the loading work area A, a movement loading device 22, which moves and overlaps the intermediate layer plate onto the lower layer plate, and an inversion loading device 32, which so moves the upper layer plate as to be vertically inverted and overlaps the same onto the intermediate layer plate overlapped on the lower layer plate, are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
