JOINT STRUCTURE FOR VERTICALLY LAYING ROOF MATERIAL AND VERTICALLY LAYING MATERIAL
To provide a joint structure for vertically laying roof material and vertically laying material capable of suppressing rain water to infiltrate into the joint structure for vertically laying roof material adjacent to each other in a lateral direction.SOLUTION: In a joint structure of a vertically laying roof material 2 of the present invention, each of a pair of the vertically laying roof material 2 jointed to each other in a lateral direction comprises a flat surface 32 extending in an eaves ridge direction and a pair of erected parts 33 erected at both ends of the flat surface 32 in the lateral direction. The joint structure of the vertically laying roof material 2 is provided with: a fit part 34 arranged on at least one of the pair of the vertically laying roof material 2; and a part 37 to be fitted to the fit part 34 through covering the fit part 34 from an upper side. The part 37 to be fitted has a press-contact piece 38 press-contacted on the flat surface 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
