VERTICALLY LAYING ROOF STRUCTURE AND VERTICALLY LAYING MATERIAL
To provide a vertically laying roof structure and vertically laying material capable of improving resistance against wind load where vertically connecting vertically laying material on an eaves side to vertically laying material on a ridge side.SOLUTION: A vertically laying roof structure according to the present embodiment is provided with vertically laying material 3a on an eaves side and vertically laying material 3b on a ridge side connected to an end part of the eaves side of the vertically laying material 3a over which an end part of an eaves side is covered. The vertically laying material 3b on the ridge side comprises a lower side folding part 45 folded to a ridge side at a lower side from the end part of the eaves side. The vertically laying material 3a comprises a body part 31 and an upper folding part 46 folded to the eaves side from the end part of the ridge side of the body part 31. The upper folding part 46 overlaps on the upper part of the end part of the ridge side of the body part 31, being engaged to the lower folding part 45. A protruding part 48 is arranged to protrude toward an opposite side of either or both of the end part of the ridge side of the body part 31 and the upper folded part 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
