To provide a tide embankment in which transparent plate are continuously arranged on an upper part of a concrete dam and which can be configured at low cost and easily as a newly constructed tide embankment or a raised existing tide embankment.SOLUTION: A plurality of quadrilateral shaped transparent resin plates 10 are continuously arranged on an upper part of a concrete dam 2. Only a lower edge portion 10a of the transparent resin plate 10 is inserted into a groove 3 provided on the upper part of the dam 2, and the transparent resin plate 10 is restrained at an inner side of the groove 3 and supported. A metal frame body 20 with approximately U-shaped cross-sectional shape is fitted into the inner side of the groove 3, the lower edge portion 10a of the transparent resin plate 10 is inserted into an inner side of the metal frame body 20. There is provided in a gap between the transparent resin plate 10 and an inner side face of the metal frame body 20 is a restraining means 30 which restrains the edge portion 10a of the transparent resin plate 10 to an inner side of the gap by enlarging an interface size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 コンクリート製の堤の上部に透明板が連続的に配置された防潮壁であり、新設の防潮壁、または既設のものを嵩上げした防潮壁として、低コストで容易に構成され得るものを提供する。【解決手段】 コンクリート製の堤2の上部に、四辺形状の複数の透明樹脂板10を連続的に配置する。透明樹脂板10は、上記堤2の上部に設けられた溝3に下方縁部10aのみを挿入し、その溝10aの内側に拘束することによって支える。溝3の内側に、横断面形状が略U字状の金属枠体20をはめ、その金属枠体20の内側に透明樹脂板10の下方縁部10aを挿入し、透明樹脂板10と金属枠体20の内側面との隙間に、面間の寸法を増大させることにより透明樹脂板10の縁部10aを当該隙間の内側に拘束する拘束手段30を設ける。【選択図】 図1
