To provide a sound absorption material excellent in sound absorbency.SOLUTION: A sound absorption material contains a porous material, and a powder material attached to the porous material, where (1) a true specific gravity of the powder material is 1.8 g/cmor less, (2) a secondary particle size of the powder material is 0.1-800 μm, (3) an attached amount of the powder material is 10-200 g/m, (4) a powder fallen amount of the powder material after having been tested at acceleration of 30 m/saccording to method A of type 1 of automobile component vibration test method of JIS D 1601 is less than 20%, and (5) a thickness of the sound absorption material is 1-50 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】吸音性に優れた吸音材を提供する。【解決手段】多孔質材料と、前記多孔質材料に付着した粉体材料とを含む、吸音材であって、（１）前記粉体材料の真比重が１．８ｇ／ｃｍ3以下であり、（２）前記粉体材料の二次粒子径が０．１〜８００μｍであり、（３）前記粉体材料の付着量が１０〜２００ｇ／ｍ2であり、（４）前記吸音材を、ＪＩＳ Ｄ１６０１ 自動車部品振動試験方法の１種Ａ法に従い、加速度３０ｍ／ｓ2で試験した後の前記粉体材料の粉落ち量が２０％未満であり、かつ、（５）前記吸音材の厚みが１〜５０ｍｍである、ことを特徴とする、吸音材。【選択図】なし
