To provide a handrail coping improved in noncombustibility performance.SOLUTION: A handrail coping includes: A coping body 2 formed of a non-combustible material and having a notched mounting recessed part 1; and an illuminating unit 7 having a housing 4 formed of a non-combustible material and having an open sectional shape opened at a floodlight opening 3, holding a luminous body 5 held on the inner wall surface thereof, and the floodlight opening 3 closed by a glass lid 6, and the housing 4 housed in the mounting recessed part 1 and fixed thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
