To provide a tatami surface folding device capable of folding stems of rush of a tatami surface in a direction along a tatami floor (a direction of rush) and also folding them into a recessed shape like a dog leg shape or a shape coincident with a deformed shape protruding in a dog leg shape in a state where side parts (an upper front side part and a lower front side part) of the tatami surface are matched with side parts (an upper front side part and a lower front side part) of a tatami floor.SOLUTION: A tatami surface folding device comprises a positioning member 12 constituted of a first positioning plate 12a and a second positioning plate 12b which can move around a virtual central axis P from each other so as to change an angle between them. A side part of a tatami surface 200 is folded to an inside by a folding member 46 in a state where the positioning member 12 is lowered to a position in contact with the tatami surface 200 to be folded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】畳表を、イ草の茎を畳床に沿う方向(イ草の向き)に折り曲げることができ、しかも、畳表の側辺(上前側の側辺と下前側の側辺)を、畳床の側辺(上前側の側辺と下前側の側辺)に合わせて、くの字形状に凹んだ形状や、くの字形状に突設したくせの形状に合致した形状に折り曲げることができる畳表折り曲げ装置を提供する。【解決手段】仮想中心軸Pを中心に、相互に角度移動可能な第1の位置決め板12aと第2の位置決め板12bとから構成される位置決め部材12を備え、位置決め部材12が折り曲げられる畳表200に対して当接する位置まで下降した状態で、折り曲げ部材46によって、畳表200の側辺を内側に折り曲げるように構成されている。【選択図】図1
