TATAMI FACING FOLDING DEVICE
To provide a tatami facing folding device capable of simultaneously folding two tatami mats of a size of half a tatami mat, capable of folding even a single tatami mat without unflatness by one folding operation, and capable of handling and folding even a single tatami mat with unflatness with the same required area as the size of a machine, and excellent in finishing.SOLUTION: Each of a left folding unit 14a and a right folding unit 14b includes a positioning plate 18 vertically movable with respect to a mounting table 16 in order to determine the folding position of the tatami facing and position other sides of the tatami mat at the folding position, and a folding member 24 arranged so as to face the folding side end of the mounting table 16 and is configured to be separable and contactable with respect to the other side of the tatami mat in order to fold the tatami facing that protrudes outward from the folding end side of the mounting table 16. The left folding unit 14a and the right folding unit 14b can be operated singly or both at the same time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】半畳サイズの畳を、２枚同時に折り曲げることができ、一畳クセ無しの畳についても、１回の折り曲げ動作で折り曲げることができ、一畳の間中クセ有り畳についても、必要面積が機械サイズと同じままで対応、折り曲げることができ、仕上がりにも優れた畳表折り曲げ装置を提供する。【解決手段】左側折り曲げユニット１４ａと右側折り曲げユニット１４ｂとが、畳表の折り曲げ位置を決定し、畳床の他の側辺を折り曲げ位置に位置決めするために、載置テーブル１６に対して、上下動可能に構成された位置決め板１８と、載置テーブル１６の折り曲げ側端部と対峙するように配置され、載置テーブル１６の折り曲げ端部側から外側に突出する畳表を折り曲げるために、畳床の他の側辺に対して、離接可能に構成された折り曲げ部材２４を備え、左側折り曲げユニット１４ａと右側折り曲げユニット１４ｂとが、一方のみ、または、両方同時に作動できるように構成した。【選択図】図４
