To provide a holding member capable of holding a handrail frame at a side part of an elevating type movable scaffold without providing any special structure to the handrail frame, and the elevating type movable scaffold equipped with the holding member.SOLUTION: Holding members 30, 40 are attached to a support base 10 of a lifting type mobile scaffold 100. The holding members 30, 40 include: handrail column holding parts 32, 42 capable of detachably holding respective handrail columns 24a so that an axis of a handrail column 24a of a handrail frame 24 extends vertically; and fixing parts 34, 44 capable of fixing the handrail column holding parts 32, 42 to the support base 10 so that the handrail column holding parts 32, 42 are positioned outside respective expansion parts 12 of the lifting type mobile scaffold 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
