To provide a method for producing water granulated slag capable of stably producing a high quality granulated slag having a high bulk density.SOLUTION: A method for producing water granulated slag according to the present invention, which is obtained by water-granulating molten slag, comprises the steps of: flowing down the molten slag; jetting a water jet into the molten slag in the flow-down state in a V-shape having the downstream side in the flow-down direction as a vertex; and wrapping the slag particles crushed in the jetting step with cooling water, in which a ratio (Q/S) of a supply amount Q (t/min) of cooling water to the slag particles in the wrapping step and a supply amount S (t/min) of the molten slag is 8 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明は、嵩密度の高い良質な水砕スラグを安定して製造できる水砕スラグの製造方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明に係る水砕スラグの製造方法は、溶融スラグを水砕して得られる水砕スラグの製造方法であって、上記溶融スラグを流下させる工程と、上記流下状態の溶融スラグにその流下方向下流側を頂点とするV字型に水ジェットを噴射する工程と、上記噴射工程で破砕されたスラグ粒子を冷却用流水で包み込む工程とを備え、上記包み込み工程のスラグ粒子に対する冷却用流水の供給量Q(t/min)と溶融スラグの供給量S(t/min)との比(Q/S)が8以上である。【選択図】図1
