VEHICLE AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
To improve security while improving convenience in start permission of a travel driving source of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 4 comprises: a fingerprint information acquisition part 401 for acquiring fingerprint information of a user; a memory processing part 402 which makes a memory part 42 store the fingerprint information acquired by the fingerprint information acquisition part 401; a sound recognition part 403 for recognizing an answer back sound emitted when a vehicle door is unlocked; and a transmission control part 404 which is triggered upon recognition of the answer back sound by the sound recognition part 403 to read out the fingerprint information stored in the memory part 42 and transmits it to a BCM which performs fingerprint authentication to collate the fingerprint information with authentic fingerprint information and permits starting of a travel driving source of the vehicle in the case that the fingerprint authentication is successful.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
