NONFLAMMABLE PLATE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
To provide a nonflammable plate having performance higher than the semi-nonflammable level even when made of a thin woody substrate.SOLUTION: A nonflammable plate 1 is composed of a substrate 2 made of a woody fiber board containing a flame retardant, an adhesive layer 3, and a surface layer 4 containing metal foil such as aluminum foil that is arranged on one face or both faces of the substrate 2 with the adhesive layer 3 sandwiched in-between. A manufacturing method includes a step for forming the woody fiber board containing a water-insoluble phosphorus-nitrogen based flame retardant of 10-40 pts.wt. relative to the weight of the absolute dry woody fiber board, a step for coating the surface of the formed woody fiber board with an adhesive, and a step for laminating a surface material containing metal foil such as aluminum foil on the adhesive-coated surface of the woody fiber board followed by cold pressing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
