To provide an operation auxiliary device capable of utilizing a handrail easily.SOLUTION: A first unit 11 is configured to support a first handrail 51 only with a first support pillar 41. A second support pillar 42 of a second unit 12 supports a coupling handrail 21 in a state where a slope of the coupling handrail 21 can be changed. The first handrail 51 has a first support part 551 for supporting the coupling handrail 21 in the state where a slope of the coupling handrail 21 can be changed, and a first coupling part 561 for coupling the first support part 551 and the first support pillar 41. The first coupling part 561 connects two points which are apart in a first direction D1 seen from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
