CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR STEEL-PIPE COLUMN
To provide a connection structure for steel-pipe columns allowing simple and strong connection with standard bolts in accordance with Building Standard Law without requiring welding operation at site and the connection in costs equal or lower than existing bolt connections with no protrusion from a surface of column.SOLUTION: A steel-pipe column 1 comprises connection members 2 with a specified thickness protruding from at least one end part thereof in a longer direction and welded so as not to protrude from an outer periphery of the steel-pipe column. The connection members are placed at positions where connection surfaces of the connection members contact with each other when upper and lower steel-pipe columns linearly face each other in a longer direction, and are provided with bolt insertion holes 40 passing through the members in a state of surface contact between the connection surfaces. The upper and lower steel-pipe columns are jointed with bolts by inserting the bolts into the bolt insertion holes of the connection members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】現場での溶接作業を必要とせず、建築基準法の規定内で、汎用のボルトでの簡便かつ強力な接合が可能であり、柱面からの突起がなく、現行のボルトの接合と同等以下のコストで接合が可能な鋼管柱の接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】鋼管柱1は、少なくとも一端部から長手方向に突出し、かつ、鋼管柱の外周から突出しないように溶接された一定の厚みを有する連結部材2を備え、連結部材は、上下の鋼管柱を長手方向直線状に対向させたときに、各々の連結部材の接合面が面接触する位置に配設されるとともに、接合面を面接触させた状態で各々を貫通するボルト挿通孔40が設けられており、上下の鋼管柱が、各々の連結部材のボルト挿通孔を通してボルト接合されている。【選択図】図1
