CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF STEEL PIPE COLUMN
To make cross-section shapes of steel pipe columns into a shape in which cracks during processing and stress concentration after construction hardly occur while eliminating need for a separate anti-rotation construction when connecting the steel pipe columns by fitting tapered portions.SOLUTION: A connection structure of steel pipe columns comprises a first steel pipe column including a tapered diameter-reduced portion and a second steel pipe column including a tapered diameter-enlarged portion. By fitting the diameter-reduced portion with an inside of the diameter-enlarged portion, the second steel pipe column is connected to the first steel pipe column. The diameter-reduced portion and the diameter-enlarged portion are formed with non-circular smooth closed-curve cross sections corresponding to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】鋼管柱同士をテーパー状部分の嵌合で連結するにあたり、別途の回り止めの施工を不要としながら、鋼管柱の断面形状を加工時の亀裂や施工後の応力集中が生じにくい形状にする。【解決手段】テーパー状の縮径部を含む第1の鋼管柱、およびテーパー状の拡径部を含む第2の鋼管柱を備え、上記縮径部を上記拡径部の内側に嵌合させることによって上記第1の鋼管柱に上記第2の鋼管柱を連結する鋼管柱の連結構造において、上記縮径部および上記拡径部は、互いに対応する非円形の滑らかな閉曲線断面で形成される。【選択図】図1
