JUNCTION STRUCTURE BETWEEN STEEL BEAM AND STEEL COLUMN
To reduce clipping that can be generated during welding as much as possible or reduce welding of a gusset plate and interference of a web end face without forming a scallop in a steel beam web, when upper and lower flanges of a steel beam are welded and joined to a flange of a steel column, and a web of the steel beam is bolt joined to the gusset plate or welded and joined to the flange of the steel column through the gusset plate.SOLUTION: Web wedges 41 and 41 on a side of an upper flange 2 and a side of a lower flange 3 on a side end face of a steel column 5 of a web 4 of a steel beam 1 are aligned on flange edges 21 and 31 on a side of the web 4 of the upper flange 2 and the lower flange 3. An intermediate section 4A including a section overlapping a gusset plate 6 welded to at least the steel beam 1 on the side end face of the steel column 5 of the web 4 is retracted from the steel column 5 than the flange edges 21 and 31. An end section 4B close to the upper flange 2 and close to the lower flange 3, excluding the intermediate section 4A of the web 4 is formed so as to draw a continuous line from the web edges 41 and 41 to the intermediate section 4A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
