FRICTION DAMPER
To provide a friction damper capable of obtaining a predetermined damping effect without being enlarged in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of a member.SOLUTION: A cylinder 10 of a friction damper 1 composed of a cylinder 10 and a rod 20 assembled so as to relatively move in an axial direction L, and a friction material 30 applying friction force caused by the relative movement to the cylinder 10 and the rod 20, is configured by a square steel pipe 30 having a storage space 11 in the axial direction L in which a cylinder tip end portion 10a is opened. The rod 20 is configured to store a rod tip end portion 20a in the storage space 11. The friction material 30 is disposed between an outer surface of the rod 20 stored in the storage space 11 and an inner surface of the cylinder 10, and is equipped with plates 40 and 50 disposed on both sides in an axial direction L of the friction material 30 and applying force in the axial direction L of the friction material 30, and a through bolt 60 regulating an interval in the axial direction L between the plates 40 and 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】部材の長手方向に直交する方向に大型化することなく所定の減衰効果を得ることができる摩擦減衰装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】軸方向Lに相対移動可能に組み付けられたシリンダ10及びロッド20と、相対移動に伴う摩擦力をシリンダ10及びロッド20に作用させる摩擦材30とで構成された摩擦減衰装置1のシリンダ10を、シリンダ先端部10aが開放された軸方向Lの収容空間11を内部に有する角型鋼管で構成し、ロッド20を収容空間11にロッド先端部20aが収容可能に構成し、摩擦材30は、収容空間11に収容されたロッド20の外表面とシリンダ10の内表面との間に配置され、摩擦材30の軸方向Lの両側に配置され、摩擦材30に軸方向Lの力を作用させるプレート40,50と、摩擦材30を軸方向Lに貫通し、プレート40,50同士の軸方向Lの間隔を規制する通しボルト60とを備えた。【選択図】図1
