To provide a vibration control building capable of further more effectively absorbing and damping an earthquake force applied to a multi-story wall column.SOLUTION: A vibration control building 1 includes a substructure 10 constructed in soil G, an upper structure provided above the substructure 10, and a multi-story wall column 30A vertically and continuously provided inside the substructure 10 and the upper structure. Damping application members 33A are provided between a lower end 30b of the multi-story wall column 30A and the substructure 10. The multi-story wall column 30A is jointed to a support member 50 rotatably in a plane forming a wall face 30f of the multi-story wall column 30A, at an intermediate part 30c positioned at an upper end of the substructure 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
