VIBRATION CONTROL BUILDING
To provide a vibration control building improving safety through suppression of stress on a leg part of a multistory shear wall.SOLUTION: Multistory shear walls 30X and 30Y of a vibration control building 1 are provided with first wall columns 31X and 31Y, second wall columns 32X and 32Y, and third wall columns 33X and 33Y arranged in the same plane. The second wall columns 32X and 32Y and the third wall columns 33X and 33Y are placed at sides opposite to each other over the first wall columns 31X and 31Y and placed apart from the first wall columns 31X and 31Y, and are connected to the first wall columns 31X and 31Y by a plurality of boundary beams 35X, 35Y, 36X and 36Y. Cross sectional areas of the first wall columns 31X and 31Y are larger than those of the second wall columns 32X and 32Y and the third wall columns 33X and 33Y.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
