To provide a greening plant holding member that includes an artificial plant and a natural plant capable of reducing labor and cost.SOLUTION: A greening plant holding member includes: a separation holding film 2 having flexibility; a first natural plant 4 grown to form a rhizome 42 in a first growing soil layer 3; and an artificial plant 5 in which an artificial leaf 51 is formed at a sheet portion 50 including a plurality of opening portions 51 and having flexibility. A hole 21 of the separation holding film 2 has a size that allows a hairy root 41 of a root portion 40 of the first natural plant 4 to penetrate. The opening 51 of the artificial plant 5 has a size that allows a stem 43 of the first natural plant 4 extending from the rhizome 42 to penetrate. In the natural plant 4, the hairy root 41 of the root portion 40 penetrates downward from the hole 21 of the separation holding film 2, the stem 43 penetrates upward from the opening portion 51 of the sheet portion 50 of the artificial plant 5, and a leaf 44 grows at the stem 43. The separation holding film 2 integrally holds the first growing soil layer 3, the first natural plant 4, and the artificial pant 5 to an extent capable of being peeled off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
