To provide a staircase unit that can reduce the work of handling ventilation ducts at the construction site of equipment placed in the underfloor space and improve workability.SOLUTION: A staircase unit 10 incorporated in a unit building 1 in which a heat source machine 6 that requires intake and exhaust is installed in an underfloor space 5, includes: a staircase portion 12; a central wall 11 and an outer peripheral wall 13 that support the staircase portion 12; a below-staircase space 20 formed below the staircase portion 12 surrounded by the staircase 12, the central wall 11 and the outer peripheral wall 13; and a duct 30 placed in the below-staircase space 20. Further, in the duct 30, one end portion 30a is inserted into a first through hole 7 formed in a floor plate 3e and protrudes into the underfloor space 5, and another end portion 30b is inserted into an opening 17e of one end portion 17c of a connection duct 17 provided in a second outer peripheral portion 15 of the outer peripheral wall 13 and communicates with the outside of the below-staircase space 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
