TATAMI FACING
To provide a tatami facing exhibiting high cleanliness and contamination resistance, high fire retardancy, high flame proofness enabling extinguishing within a short time, antibacterial property, etc.SOLUTION: The tatami facing is formed by using a resin twist yarn made of 2-10 thermoplastic resin single fibers of 300-2000 denier as a warp yarn and a rush as a weft yarn. For the rush, an artificial rush is preferred, which is obtained by binding uniaxial drawing films made of olefin resins and inorganic fillers in a string shape, passing the obtained bound body through a gap of a heating member having the gap narrower than the diameter of the bound body to irregularly and partially fusing and binding the uniaxial drawing films of the bound body, and forming a fused covering on the surface of the bound body.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】本発明は、クリーン性及び耐汚染性が優れている畳表及び更に、難燃性、火がついても短時間で消化しうる防炎性、抗菌性等が優れている畳表を提供する。【解決手段】300~2000デニールの熱可塑性樹脂単繊維2~10本が撚られてなる樹脂系撚糸を縦糸とし、いぐさを横糸として製織されていることを特徴とする畳表。いぐさはオレフィン系樹脂及び無機充填剤よりなる一軸延伸フィルムを紐状に結束し、得られた結束体を該収束体の直径より狭い空隙部を有する加熱部材の空隙部中を通過させることにより、該結束体の一軸延伸フィルムを互いに不規則且つ部分的に融着結束させると共に、該結束体の表面に融着被膜を形成することにより得られた人工いぐさが好ましい。【選択図】なし
