ARTIFICIAL RUSH FOR TATAMI FACING
To provide an artificial rush for tatami facing formed of a tough and abrasion-resistant resin coated paper yarn body that has improved colorability and a hollow portion having excellent water repellency and is formed by forming the paper yarn by twisting a thinly-cut paper tape, coating the paper yarn with resin, and subsequently weaving the paper yarn.SOLUTION: An artificial rush for tatami facing is formed by twisting a paper tape having thickness of 0.015 to 0.025 mm so as to be multiply wound in a spiral state and providing a cavity portion at a central part of the multiply wound tape so that a paper yarn body with diameter of 1 to 1.5 mmφ has elasticity and toughness. Ester-based synthetic resin is applied on an external surface portion so as to become a uniform coating layer having thickness that is not less than the thickness of the paper tape. The surface of the artificial rush for tatami facing maintains properties of smoothness, toughness and flexibility for allowing the paper yarn body to be woven, and water repellency and colorability after being woven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】細く裁断された紙テープに撚りをかけて抄織糸を形成し、この抄織糸を樹脂で被覆した後機織することにより作った着色性を高めて、撥水性に優れた中空部を持つ強靭で耐摩耗性を持つ樹脂被覆の抄繊糸体の畳表用人工藺草を提供する。【解決手段】０．０１５～０．０２５ｍｍ厚さの紙テープを渦巻き状の多重巻の撚りをかけ、１～１・５ｍｍφ径の抄繊糸体に弾力性と強靭性を持たせるため、重巻の中心部に空洞部を設け、外表面部にはエステル系合成樹脂を紙テープ厚さ以上の均一な被膜層にして、前記抄繊糸体を機織できるような平滑性と強靭性と柔軟性と、機織後の撥水性と着色性の特性を維持した表面にしている畳表用人工藺草である。【選択図】図１
