Some of the plurality of storage units 30 have an inspection platform storage unit 34 at the bottom of the storage unit 30. The inspection platform storage unit 34 includes a traverse carriage 50 that moves between the inspection platform storage unit 34 and the hoistway 20, and an inspection platform 40 that is placed on the traverse carriage 50 and performs the vehicle transfer between the traverse carriage 50 and the hoistway 20 in the hoistway 20.
