To enable an installation work of a temporal construction support to be safely and easily carried out by providing a slip resistant section on a lower base plate.SOLUTION: A temporary construction support comprises: a lower column 10 having a lower pipe section 11, a lower base plate 13, and a lower pipe locking section 12; an adjusting nut 20 rotatably locked to the lower pipe locking section; a screw tube 30 that has first pin holes 33a, 33b and a male screw section 31, and is screwed with the adjusting nut and inserted in the lower pipe section at its lower section; a rotation lock section 40 that prevents the screw tube from rotating with respect to the lower column; an upper column 50 that has an upper pipe section 51, an upper base plate 52, and second pin holes 55a, 55b, and is inserted in the screw tube at its lower section; support pins 60a, 60b that continuously penetrate the first pin holes and the second pin holes to fix the screw tube and the upper column; a lower bottom base 15 provided on a lateral face of the lower base plate; an upper bottom base 54 provided on a lateral face of the upper base plate; and one or more slip resistant sections 16 protruding in a direction along a surface of the lower base plate from the lower bottom base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
