EXISTING-QUAY-IMPROVED STRUCTURE AND IMPROVEMENT METHOD
To provide: an existing-quay-improved structure requiring no submerged ground improvements that affect the environment; and an improvement method.SOLUTION: An existing-quay-improved structure 1 comprises: a newly installed wal body 7 newly embedded in a ground on a water-area side of an existing quay 3 installed to separate a water area from a land area on a waterfront such as a harbor, coast, river or canal; a newly installed superstructure 9 installed at an upper end of the new wall body 7 and including a top surface that is configured above a water surface 8; a filling material 11 arranged to fill a gap between the new wall body 7 and the existing quay 3; a plurality of piles 13 driven into a water bottom surface 12 on the water-area side of the new wall body 7; and a pile head connection structure 15 which is integrally connected with pile heads of the piles 13, and which is installed to contact the water side of the new wall body 7 to transmit horizontal force only from the new wall body 7 to the piles 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】環境に影響を与える水底地盤改良を必要としない既存岸壁の改良構造及び改良方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る既存岸壁の改良構造1は、港湾、海岸、河川、運河などの水際線において、水域と陸域を分けるように設けられた既存岸壁3の水域側に新たに地中に根入れされた新設壁体7と、新設壁体7の上端部に設けられ、上面が水面8よりも上方に設定された新設上部工9と、新設壁体7と既存岸壁3との隙間に該隙間を埋めるように配設された間詰材11と、新設壁体7の水域側の水底面12に打設された杭13と、杭13の杭頭部を連結一体化すると共に新設壁体7の水域側に接するように設けられて新設壁体7から水平力のみを杭13に伝達する杭頭連結構造15とを備えたことを特徴とするものである。【選択図】 図1
