To provide a steel floor slab reinforcing method in which a sufficient opening can be provided to carry out the reinforcing work of the inside of the U-rib and fixation of the part cut from the U-rib to the U-rib can be omitted.SOLUTION: A reinforcing method concerning a U-rib 4 installed at a part of a steel floor slab where a wheel load is applied comprises the steps of: cutting a bottom plate 41r between the intersections with a member 3 extending in the direction perpendicular to the bridge axis and making the U-rib 4 open cross-sectioned; and performing both-side fillet welding on the joint structure subjected to the one side fillet welding by the work inside the U-rib 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
