To provide a technology that can reduce occurrences of unintended actions by a user in an automatic door system that has a non-contact command input part.SOLUTION: An automatic door device 10 includes a sliding door provided at an opening, a non-contact output part 64 that outputs a door opening instruction or closing instruction in response to the opening operation or closing operation of the sliding door, a door controller 66 that can control the door in multiple control modes, including control modes of sliding door open-drive control in response to the opening instruction and door close-drive control in response to the closing instruction, and when certain conditions are met, the door is controlled in control modes that regulate the control of the door based on the opening or closing operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
