BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE
To provide a buckling restraint brace having a restraint member instead of an unbonded member of shaped butyl rubber, which has a mechanism to prevent local destruction caused by the pressing force received from the core member and a function as an unbonded member.SOLUTION: A buckling restraint brace 100 includes: a core member 10 having a steel plate shape; a pair of restraint members 30 made of square steel pipes, which are arranged so as to face the two wide faces the core member 10 has; and an insertion plate 20 that is interposed between the core member 10 and the restraint member 30. The strength and hardness of the insertion plate 20 are relatively higher than those of the core member 10 and the restraint member 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
