To provide a connection member capable of properly joining a top pillar and a bottom pillar sides thereof are on different planes and twisted.SOLUTION: A connection member 100 is a connection member for joining a bottom pillar 4A and a top pillar 4B of a square column with sides thereof positioned on different planes and twisted. The connection member includes: a lower diaphragm part 6 along a horizontal plane and joined to the bottom pillar 4A; an upper diaphragm part 7 along the horizontal plane and joined to the top pillar 4B; and an enclosing portion 8 that closes between outer edges 61, 62, 64 of the lower diaphragm portion 6 and outer edges 71, 72, 74 of the upper diaphragm portion. The lower diaphragm portion 6, the upper diaphragm portion 7, and the surrounding portion 8 are integrally molded, and an inside thereof is formed hollow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
