To provide an asphalt finisher capable of more appropriately performing automatic steering of a tractor.SOLUTION: An asphalt finisher 100 includes a tractor 1, a hopper 2 installed on the front side of the tractor 1 for receiving a pavement material, a conveyor CV for conveying the pavement material in the hopper 2 to the rear side of the tractor 1, a screw SC for spreading on the rear side of the tractor 1 the pavement material conveyed by the conveyor CV, a screed 3 for evenly leveling the pavement material spread by the screw SC on the rear side of the screw SC, an object detecting device 51 for acquiring information related to an object AP placed on the ground of a construction object, and a controller 50 which generates a guide line on the basis of change in the object AP and steers the tractor 1 on the basis of the guide line and a reference line indicating a vehicle length direction of the tractor 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
