BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE
To provide a buckling restraint brace capable of forming a predetermined clearance between a core material and a restraining material without using unbonded material while avoiding an increase in weight and cost.SOLUTION: A buckling restraint brace 1 includes a core material 2, a pair of restraining materials 3, and a rod spacer 4. The rod spacer 4 is made of two round bars 41 that are welded together and are adjacent to each other in the direction of the weak axis of the core material 2 in the direction orthogonal to the long side direction of the plate-like body 21 of the core material 2. The diameter of each round bar 41 is equal to half the thickness of core material 2 in the weak axis direction plus a clearance between the core material and the restraining material on one side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】アンボンド材を用いずに芯材と拘束材との間に所定のクリアランスを形成できるとともに、重量化や高コスト化を回避できる座屈拘束ブレースを提供する。【解決手段】座屈拘束ブレース1は、芯材2と、一対の拘束材3と、棒状スペーサ4と、を備える。棒状スペーサ4は、上記芯材2の上記板状体21の長辺方向に直交する方向のうち上記芯材2の弱軸方向に隣り合って互いに溶接固定される2つの丸棒材41からなる。各丸棒材41の直径は、芯材2の弱軸方向の厚さの半分に片側の上記クリアランスを足した長さとされる。【選択図】図4
