To provide a water operation planning support apparatus and a method, which create an appropriate water operation plan considering conditions of both water volume and water quality even in a case where lowering of the water quality is anticipated at a time of water distribution such as a time of long-distance transportation of water.SOLUTION: A water operation planning support apparatus which creates a water operation plan of a distribution system of waterworks consisting of a water place and plural distribution reservoirs in a waterworks system includes: a water operation planning problem formulating section that formulates water operation planning problems by adding a constraint condition regarding the water quality with respect to water operation planning problems consisting of a decision variable regarding the water volume and a constraint condition and an object function regarding the water volume; and a water operation planning formation section that creates a water operation planning considering conditions of the water volume and the water quality by solving the water operation planning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】水の長距離輸送時などのように、送配水時に水質の低下が予想されるような場合であっても、水量と水質の両方の条件を考慮した適切な水運用計画の立案を行う水運用計画支援装置及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】上水道システムにおいて、水場及び複数の配水池からなる上水道の送配水系の水運用計画を作成する水運用計画支援装置は、水量に関する決定変数と水量に関する制約条件、目的関数からなる水運用計画問題に対して、水質に関する制約条件を追加して水運用計画問題を定式化する水運用計画問題定式化部と、水運用計画を解くことにより水量および水質の条件を考慮した水運用計画を立案する水運用計画立案部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
