To provide a door holding device for a vehicle capable of reducing the load applied to a fastening part with a vehicle door.SOLUTION: A door holding device 20a for a vehicle includes a housing 21, a spindle screw 23 rotatably supported relative to the housing 21, a spindle nut 24 screwed with the spindle screw 23, a connecting rod 25 whose front end is rotatably connected to a vehicle body 11 and whose rear end is rotatably connected to the spindle nut 24, a front bracket 22 mounted to the front end of the housing 21 and fixed to a portion forming a front end surface of an inner panel 121 of a vehicle door 12, and a side bracket 29a positioned behind the front end and fixed to the side surface of the inner panel 121.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
