To increase the efficiency of excavation work.SOLUTION: An excavation support device executes: first acquisition processing of acquiring an excavation available region excluding other pipe other than a work object pipe from an excavation object region in the ground; second acquisition processing of acquiring an arrangement region of the work object pipe in the excavation object region; retrieval processing of retrieving an excavation region candidate from the arrangement region of the work object pipe acquired by the second acquisition processing to the ground surface, in the excavation available region acquired by the first acquisition processing, on the basis of an index relating to man-hours in excavation; and output processing of outputting a retrieval result by the retrieval processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
