To provide a vertical frame cover cap for a renovation fitting capable of improving workability during construction of the renovation fitting.SOLUTION: A vertical frame cover cap 7 for a renovation fitting 1 is used for the renovation fitting 1 that includes an existing frame 2 that is installed at an opening in a building skeleton 100 and a new frame 3 that is attached to the inner circumference of the existing frame 2. The vertical frame cover cap 7 for renovation fitting 1 is attached to a vertical frame cover 53 provided to the new frame 3. The vertical frame cover cap 7 has a covered part 72 covering a part of the outer surface of a lower frame cover member 52 that is formed extending from the vertical frame cover 53 provided to the new frame 3. The covered part 72 is arranged so as to retreat from a state covering part of the outer surface of the lower frame cover member 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
