To provide a vertical frame cover cap for renovation fitting capable of improving the strength of fixation to a vertical frame cover, and a renovation fitting.SOLUTION: A vertical frame cover cap for renovation fitting is a vertical frame cover cap 7 for a renovation fitting 1 attached to a vertical frame cover 53 provided to a new frame 3, and is used for a renovation fitting 1 that includes an existing frame 2 provided to an opening 11 of a building structure 100 and the new frame 3 that is attached to the inner circumference of the existing frame 2. The vertical frame cover cap 7 has a front surface fitting portion 72 that fits into the front surface of the vertical frame cover 53 and a front surface fitting portion 74 that fits into the front surface of the vertical frame cover 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
