REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE AND REMOTE CONTROL METHOD
To provide a remote control device capable of avoiding contact between a work machine and an obstruction.SOLUTION: A remote control device 100 is provided with: a remote control section 111 for remotely controlling a work machine 300 working at a work site; a position posture calculating section 112 for acquiring the position and posture of the work machine 300; and an interference analysis section 113 for commanding the remote control section 111 to stop the work machine 300 when a distance between the work machine 300 and an obstruction is equal to a specific value or less through calculation of the distance based on position information (refer to obstruction data 140) of the obstruction at the work site in a three dimensional space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
