Connecting coupler for steel reinforcement and connecting method of steel reinforcement using the same
The present invention relates to a rebar connecting coupler that can firmly connect two rebars, with no risk of rupture or shear, and a method of connecting the rebars by use of the same. The coupler includes: a hollow threaded pipe, of which an inner peripheral surface is formed with a female threaded portion; a pair of inclined pipes provided at both ends of the threaded pipe in a longitudinal direction, of which an inner diameter is decreased toward the threaded pipe, and an inclined portion of the rebar being brought into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the inclined pipes; and a pair of hollow fitting pipes having a diameter larger than that of the threaded pipe and installed to ends of the inclined pipes. The method of connecting the rebars by use of the same includes: a first step of preparing a rebar connecting coupler; preparing a pair of rebars having a main body of a rod shape having ribs and joints on an outer surface which is fitted into the fitting pipe, an inclined portion extending from an end of the main body and tapered away from main body, and a threaded portion formed on an end of the inclined portion and threadedly fitted to the threaded pipe; and a third step of inserting the pair of rebars into the pair of fitting pipes, respectively, by threadedly engaging the threaded portion with the threaded pipe until the inclined portion of each rebar is pressed against the inner surface of the inclined pipe.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 의한 철근연결용 커플러는, 중공관 형상을 이루되 내측면에 암나사산이 형성된 나사관; 상기 나사관의 길이방향 양단에 구비되되, 상기 나사관과 멀어질수록 내경이 증가하는 방향으로 경사지게 연장되는 한 쌍의 경사관; 상기 나사관보다 내경이 큰 중공관 형상으로 형성되어 상기 한 쌍의 경사관의 끝단에 구비되는 한 쌍의 삽입관;을 포함하여 구성된다. 본 발명에 의한 철근연결방법은, 상기와 같이 구성되는 철근연결용 커플러를 마련하는 제1 단계; 외측면에 리브와 마디가 형성되되 상기 삽입관의 내측으로 끼워맞춤 방식으로 삽입 가능한 봉 형상의 메인몸체와, 상기 메인몸체의 길이방향 끝단에 형성되되 상기 메인몸체와 멀어질수록 외경이 작아지는 방향으로 경사지게 연장되는 경사부와, 상기 경사부의 끝단에 형성되되 상기 나사관의 내측으로 나사결합 가능한 규격의 나사부로 구성되는 한 쌍의 철근을 마련하는 제2 단계; 상기 한 쌍의 철근을 한 쌍의 삽입관으로 각각 삽입시키되, 각 철근의 경사부가 해당 경사관의 내측면에 압착될 때까지 상기 나사부를 상기 나사관에 나사결합시키는 제3 단계;로 구성된다.
