METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS CERAMIC BODY AND POROUS CERAMIC INTERMEDIATE
According to the present invention, a method for manufacturing a porous ceramic body capable of being manufactured with a high yield and a porous ceramic intermediate are provided. The method for manufacturing a porous ceramic body comprises: a paper forming process in which an operator filters out organic fibers from a raw material solution containing organic fibers and forms ceramic paper (200), wherein the raw material solution contains a thermoplastic material which is softened or melted by applying heat and solidified by lowering a temperature; a flattening process in which the operator applies heat and pressure to the ceramic paper (200) for pressing; an intermediate forming process in which the operator applies heat and pressure to a laminated body of the ceramic paper (200) to soften the thermoplastic material so as to obtain a porous ceramic intermediate (300) in which adjacent ceramic papers (200) are bonded to each other; and a calcining process in which the operator calcines the porous ceramic intermediate (300) to obtain a porous ceramic body (100).
