In an asphalt plant 100 for manufacturing an asphalt mixture M by mixing an aggregate and asphalt by a mixer 80, a component information deduction system 1 for deducing information regarding components of the asphalt mixture M is provided with: an imaging device 2 that images the asphalt mixture M in the mixer 80; an image analysis unit 3 that analyzes a captured image G1 taken by the imaging device 2; and a calculation unit 4 that deduces, on the basis of the result of analysis by the image analysis unit 3, the aggregate granularity of the aggregate included in the asphalt mixture M and the percentage content of the asphalt included in the asphalt mixture M.
