METHOD FOR PRODUCING MOLDED HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE
The present invention provides a method for producing a molded honeycomb structure, the method comprising a mixing step (S1) and a molding step (S2). In the mixing step (S1), a body paste is produced by mixing water with a cordierite-forming starting material that contains porous silica. In the molding step (S2), the body paste is molded into a honeycomb structure and dried, thereby producing a molded honeycomb structure. In the mixing step (S1), the amount W (wt%) of water to be added to 100 wt% of the cordierite-forming starting material is adjusted on the basis of the maximum water content Wa1 (wt%) adsorbable by the porous silica and the water content Wa2 (wt%) actually adsorbed on the porous silica.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'une structure en nid d'abeilles moulée, le procédé comprenant une étape de mélange (S1) et une étape de moulage (S2). Dans l'étape de mélange (S1), une pâte de corps est produite par mélange d'eau avec un matériau de départ formant de la cordiérite qui contient de la silice poreuse. Dans l'étape de moulage (S2), la pâte de corps est moulée en une structure en nid d'abeilles et séchée, ce qui permet de produire une structure en nid d'abeilles moulée. Dans l'étape de mélange (S1), la quantité W (% en poids) de l'eau à ajouter à 100 % en poids de la matière de départ formant de la cordiérite est ajustée en fonction de la teneur en eau maximale Wa1 (% en poids) pouvant être adsorbée par la silice poreuse et de la teneur en eau Wa2 (% en poids) réellement adsorbée sur la silice poreuse.
