Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrzeugtür (2) für einen Kraftwagen (1), mit einem türaußenseitigen, oberhalb einer Türbrüstung (11) der Fahrzeugtür (2) angeordneten Griffelement (18), wobei in das Griffelement (18) ein Bedienelement (22) integriert ist, mittels welchem ein Schloss, mittels welchem die zwischen einer Schließstellung und wenigstens einer Offenstellung bewegbar an einem Aufbau des Kraftwagens (1) anordenbare Fahrzeugtür (2) in der Schließstellung zu sichern ist, elektrisch entriegelbar ist. Das Griffelement (18) ist relativ zu einem Basiskörper (4) der Fahrzeugtür (2) aus einer Ruhestellung (R) in wenigstens eine Betätigungsstellung (B) bewegbar an dem Basiskörper (4) gehalten, wobei durch Bewegen des Griffelements (18) aus der Ruhestellung (R) in die Betätigungsstellung (B) das Schloss mechanisch entriegelbar ist.
