Annual Housing Survey: 1980. United States and Regions, Part E: Urban and Rural Housing Characteristics
This report presents urban and rural housing characteristics from the 1980 Annual Housing Survey for the United States, by inside and outside standard metropolitan statistical areas and each of the four geographic regions. Tables present general housing characteristics for 1980 and 1970, financial characteristics for 1980 and 1970, selected indicators of housing quality, and selected characteristics for mobile homes and trailers as well as for new construction units. Other data cover 1973 characteristics of housing units removed from the inventory, selected characteristics of all occupied housing units and of units occupied by recent movers, and selected characteristics of year - round vacant housing units. This same general subject content is presented for housing units with black householder and Spanish - origin householder. A discussion of the source and reliability of the estimates is appended along with area classifications, definitions, and explanations of subject characteristics along with a sample of the survey questionnaire. A table - finding guide is also included.
