Determination of Nitrogen Trichloride in Liquid Chlorine
This article describes a procedure for the determination of nitrogen trichloride in liquid chlorine based on a reaction in which NH4CI is formed, and the NH3 is determined by one of several methods, including the indophenol method as modified by Bolleter and colleagues, and the Nessler colorimetric method which gave less precise results even under carefully controlled experimental conditions.
