The invention relates to an environment-friendly article gripping device. The environment-friendly article picking device comprises a handle with connected upper part and lower part, a straight rod and a gripping device, wherein the handle comprises a fixed portion arranged above and a movable portion arranged below, the movable portion and the top end of the straight rod are of a hinge structure, and the gripping device is fixed to the bottom end of the straight rod through first bolts; the gripping device includes two oppositely arranged external metal sheets and two internal metal sheets arranged opposite to the two external metal sheets respectively, and the external metal sheets are fixed to the straight rod through the first bolts; the upper ends of the internal metal sheets are connected with a metal wire in the straight rod through a metal ring, and the metal wire winds around a pulley on the upper end of the straight rod to be connected with the handle movable portion; the lower ends of the internal metal sheets are fixed to the lower ends of the external metal sheets through second bolts, meanwhile, rubber plates are fixed to the two layers of metal sheets by the second bolts; the two rubber plates are arranged oppositely. According to the environment-friendly article gripping device, the structure is simple, convenience and practicability are achieved, and easy gripping of articles from low positions or high positions and garbage collection are achieved by arranging the handle, the straight rod and the gripping device.
