The invention discloses a high-wear-resistance zirconium oxide bead and a preparation method thereof. The high-wear-resistance zirconium oxide bead is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 90-100 parts of acrylamide, 2-3 parts of yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide powder, 4-5 parts of N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide, 1-1.5 parts of ammonium citrate and 12-15 parts of deionized water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing zirconium oxide premixed slurry; S2, performing vacuum stirring and defoaming treatment on the zirconium oxide premixed slurry to obtain zirconium oxide slurry; S3, spraying the zirconium oxide slurry into the mixed solution to prepare zirconium oxide gel micro beads; S4, conducting washing, drying and self-grinding polishing on the zirconium oxide gel beads to obtain zirconium oxide bead blanks; and S5, carrying out rubber removal treatment and high-temperature sintering on the zirconium oxide bead blanks, and conducting cooling to obtain the high-wear-resistance zirconium oxide beads. According to the invention, the problems of low production efficiency and yield of zirconium oxide beads, high production cost, complex process and unstable product quality in the prior art are solved.
